Description
Mipa FX5 2K HS Express Filler is a high-quality two-component primer for fast and economic car refinishing (express technology) which eliminates in most cases oven drying. Due to its special formulation, Mipa FX5 HS Express Filler cures quickly at room temperature (20°C) and can be sanded after a drying period of 20 to 40 minutes (depending on air humidity, coat thickness and temperature).
These special drying properties offer cost savings in terms of reducing spray booth occupancy, baking times as well as working times resulting in a considerable reduction in operating costs while increasing throughput.
If required, booth drying is also possible whereby full sandability is obtained after approximately 5 minutes at 60° C or 10 minutes at 40°C (plus cooling time).
Mipa FX5 HS Express Filler is perfectly suitable for partial paint work and spot repairs. After pre-treatment with Mipa Vorreiniger Express (Code: MWVE), this filler provides a very good adhesion on steel, iron, aluminium and galvanized substrates. If required, it can also be used as a wet-on-wet primer that can be quickly recoated after 5 minutes at 20°C. It can be recoated within 24 hours without intermediate sanding.
